PSI’s Kiser Quotient, stipulating that “Energy needed should be equal to or greater than energy purchased,” and our Green Machine Protocol that is our mechanism for implementing the Kiser Quotient in all energy systems designed by PSI are revolutionizing the way businesses and institutions purchase and use energy.  In a PSI designed energy system, consumers only need to purchase a single unit of energy for every three units needed. The other two units of needed energy are provided by reusing or recapturing energy and by integrating renewable energy into PSI systems whenever possible.   

 

PSI was founded in 1979 by Thomas Kiser, an aeronautical engineer driven by a passion to change the way the world thinks about energy use and find ways to better balance the energy needs of mankind with the urgent need to preserve our environment.  Our company was launched with an $80,000 loan from the Small Business Administration that was collateralized in part by the wedding ring of our founder’s wife. Today, PSI has over $100 million worth of Energy Service Agreements, guaranteeing the performance and sustainability of PSI designed energy systems all over the United States and Canada.

 

The advancement of the green technology patented and employed by PSI in our energy systems is helping to create new manufacturing and engineering jobs all over the United States.  Currently, PSI employs 30 people at our headquarters in Fremont, Ohio, and is providing contract work for up to 200 engineers at any one time.
