The Kiser Quotient stipulates that:
“Energy needed should be equal to or greater
than energy purchased.”
Most energy consumers assume that every unit of energy purchased is used. At PSI, we know that is not true. In fact, most consumers are buying 3 or more units of energy for each one consumed.

With a PSI designed energy system, a consumer only has to purchase 1/3 of the energy needed.
Green Machine
At PSI, we have dubbed the process of implementing the Kiser Quotient the Green Machine.
The Green Machine drives our concept design for energy effectiveness. The PSI objective is to provide a minimum of 3 units of energy for every single unit purchased.

Using the Green Machine Protocol, PSI designed systems fill the gap in energy needs versus energy purchased by recapturing and reusing energy and, whenever possible and practicable, integrating renewable energy sources to supply the other two needed units.
